Leaving work yesterday I was overjoyed to see light still in the sky. I know we still have a long winter ahead of us, but it felt like a small victory to have that little extra sun. A small reminder of the other season's that are so easy to forget after a month or more of grey skies and cold temperatures. I'm happy to have snow and cold, it's beautiful in it's way and it's a annual reminder of how grateful we should be for the spring and the garden and the warmth.
It's still dark outside now and I'm waiting until the sun peaks out to take the dogs for a walk before work. I've been unable to be a crafting wizard as of late due to a hectic schedule, but the craft room is almost ready and this morning I applied for a 3 month spot with Urban Craft (fingers crossed). I really enjoyed the Glisten show a few months back and would love to see what being a crafter with Urban Craft feels like.
We have a special canine friend visiting us and it's been a pleasure to have the 'get-along-gang' back together. The last time Jack visited, Charlie was just a wee puppy!
This week's goal is to find some time to a) put up a tutorial I promised awhile back and b) make some new Boogedy shoos c) photograph some of the monsters and other creatures I have lurking around for easy and d) get 14 more fans on Facebook so I can finally have a draw for one of my creations
Wishing you a fantastic day, longer than the last and shorter than the next.
