Mark, the dogs and I had a great trip to Burlington this weekend. We always end up cramming in as many visits as possible with family and friends. This time we managed to see a whole whack of people thanks to all the sweet folks who came out to Applefest. It was lovely to see some dear old familiar friends, and also to see/meet their little ones who are all growing up way too darned fast!
Lil Hoot and Rupert the Raccoon seemed to be the big hits of the day, as well as those good ole Boogedy Shoos who always seem to make new friends wherever they go.
I'm awfully grateful that Mark is such a supportive guy. Not only did he come and spend the whole day with me at my lil table, he also wore on of the adult size hat prototypes I've been working on. Let me tell ya it was pretty hot under that sun, but that man would not take off his hat. Gotta say, it made me feel pretty good that he was not only willing to wear one of my attempts at a grown up hat, but that he actually liked it.
I've been talking to some folks about social media and although I'm really happy with this website, I can't figure out a few things with the blog portion ie. allowing subscribers or creating links to blogs I like. So I'm thinking of going back to Blogspot and putting a link here. I'm gonna think about it a bit more and see if I can figure out how to use those features in this program, but if not I'll have to move back. If anyone has any suggestions, let me now. Also thinking about putting together a stocking tutorial if there's any interest out there.
Much to think about!
